The project includes the development of software (Football Player Draft) enabling searches for soccer players using different filters, taking the characteristics of current players as a reference. Football Player Draft is a software package capable of optimizing, managing, planning and modifying future signings of soccer teams. An algorithm capable of making a pre-selection of players based on the client's requirements was implemented for this purpose. The software has a constantly updated database containing nearly 20,000 soccer players from more than 160 different countries, from 650 different competitions and with an age range of 15 to 43 years. Each player is parameterized by a total of 108 variables. Football Player Draft is therefore a highly useful tool for all kinds of professional soccer teams that are looking to strategically leverage their capital when signing or selling players.
