Wednesday, March 29, at 7 p.m., in ca l'Alier, we are scheduling a new session of the cycle of annual conferences on architectural lighting. The speaker will be Allan Ruberg, founder of ÅF Lighting.
The world is changing, and it is no longer something we just discuss – it’s a reality that we must deal with in our everyday life. It manifests as urbanization, energy crisis, environmental challenges and a remarkable technological development. These changes dramatically increase the complexity of society and effect the way we live, work and communicate.
This, of course, means that it is very challenging for public decision makers, city planners and architects to design our future liveable environments and equally complex for lighting designers to support and enhance them.
I will show examples of how Scandinavian lighting designers understand and work with these challenges to create sustainable modern lighting solutions, that make a positive contribution to the urban environment supporting good quality of life and social interaction.
This Open Talent will be held in English.
